Azul Riviera is a landmark villa in Akumal and one of the largest villas with over 4,000 square feet of living space. It is located on Yal-ku Lagoon which is like an enormous outdoor aquarium - an amazing view! You can jump right into the lagoon from your back yard, or you can jump right into the fabulous waterfront swimming pool. There is also a private beach area to get that suntan you just have to take home with you!

    Azul Riviera is a large, traditonal hacienda style home with a huge living room/dining room area with a cathedral ceiling and an adjoining fully equipped, industrial sized kitchen. The combined living/dining rooms provide enough table seating for up to 14 people. Miguel, Azul Riviera's caretaker, is a superb cook and can provide breakfast and dinner for up to 14 people. There are two outdoor palapas - a large one for entertaining with a wet bar, tables and chairs - the other is on the lagoon with lounge chairs.

    Azul Riviera has four air conditioned bedrooms with LOTS of beds and three bathrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs with a view of the lagoon, a king-size bed and a huge, private outdoor sun deck. The two downstairs guest rooms both have king sized beds and lofts for children which contain 2 twin beds. Extra sleeping arrangements include a double sofa bed in one downstairs bedroom, a single day bed in another as well as a single day bed in the observation room. The new children's room is downstairs and has a double bed. The bathrooms are all enormous and offer a lot of privacy. There is a Jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bath.

    Maid service is provided six days per week and for a small extra charge, the caretakers can cook meals for you in the villa. The local laundry in Akumal can provide same day service if you hand in your clothes by 9:00am.

    A circular stairway leads to an incredible observation room on the third floor with a 360 degree view of the lagoon, jungle and ocean. It's also equipped with a day bed for sleeping. Stay at Azul Riviera and enjoy the most fantastic vacation! With so much space and cool places to sleep, kids just LOVE this house and we know the adults will, too!
