There is some of the best fishing
along the coast of the Maya Riviera. In addition there are a number of great
fishermen who will take you to the best spots. Many times you can make
arrangements to have the fresh fish you caught cleaned and prepared for you as
well as perfectly cooked and served to you. Making it the end to a perfect day –
all you need to do is fill in the stories about the one that got away.
Bone Fishing Enjoy a few hours in the
beautiful Caribbean drift fishing for dinner. We will take you on one of our
super stable boats to some of our most productive reefs. Catch Grouper,
Yellowtail, Mutton, Grey, and Cubera Snapper - all excellent fighters
and superb food fish.
On a beautiful calm day there is nothing more
relaxing and fun (especially for kids) than drift fishing for dinner in the
beautiful Caribbean waters. Sometimes when the bite is really good you will see
the fish schooling under and around the boat and the kids get a big kick out of
catching and feeding the reef fish.
In Puerto Aventuras your crew will
fillet your catch. You can then take it to one of the local restaurants to have it fried, grilled,
or sauteed in garlic butter, as you like.
Deep Sea
Fishing

| The Yucatan Peninsula offers unbeatable
vacation options and the fishing waters are famous worldwide! Peak fishing
season runs from early March through early July when Sailfish and
Marlin are migrating through the canal. During these months, the Puerto
Aventuras marina fills up with yachts from several states and countries with one
thing in mind - SAILFISH. What this means is multiple shots at
sailfish per day (15 - 20 is not at all unusual.) Puerto Aventuras has
been featured in most saltwater fishing publications- Marlin, Saltwater
Sportsman, Sportfishing as well as several times on ESPN. What most
people do not know is that the off season fishing is just as great! From August
through February, we average 8 Sailfish in a half day trip - that
is more than most fishing destinations during peak season! | Several boats
are available from a 40' (13 meters) to a 23' (8 meter) Seacraft. The captains
are English speaking and have at least 10 years experience fishing these
grounds. All the fishing is done trolling dead baits using 20 to 30 lb. standup
Shimano or Penn gear, although a fighting chair will be provided upon request.
Two of our Captains are also experts at flyfishing, in which case you must
provide your own gear. Of course, all billfish are released.
