The Riviera Maya is known for some of the best masseuses in the world. Imagine relaxing with the sound of the ocean and tropical birds while all your cares are massaged away. Or better yet, you don't need to go anywhere! You can enjoy a relaxing massage in the privacy of your own villa. Lorinda, owner of the Buddha Garden Spa, is an excellent massage therapist who will go directly to your villa. She is very professional and will give you "the best massage ever". You can make an appointment with us before arrival or contact her after arriving in Akumal. Vivian is our massage therapist in Puerto Aventuras. She is excellent! You can book with her upon arrival or we can put you in contact with either therapist before your arrival.

In addition, there are many Yoga instructors and Gyms in the area so you don't have to miss a day of exercise while you are on your vacation.

Massage by Salvador - SHAKTI Massage and Wellness Center

Salvador is a Reiki Master and Massage Therapist. He uses the Montesinos Method which is a powerful combination of Reiki energy work and therapeutic massage. Per T Bonner from Minnesota: "Relaxing and Invigorating.... Remarkable..!" or J White from New York: "This is one AWESOME massage...simply the BEST I've had!!" Salvador is located in the white tent next to Turtle Bay Café in Akumal, up the stairs from Peak Gym. He is open six days a week and you can sign up for a massage on his bulletin board behind the tent. Email

Yoga Classes

Classes are held several times throughout the day on the top floor at the entrance to Akumal – look for the Arch Group. Cost is $15. Private sessions are also available. Email
